Africa-Press – Eswatini. With Buhleni gearing towards being a fully-fledged town, ZMCK Consulting Engineers have been awarded a multimillion tender to come up with architectural impression of the town.
This was revealed by Buhleni Town Board Chief Executive Officer Gideon Mbuli. He said they had launched the project with the expectation that within five months, the consultant would submit a report on the new outlook of the fast developing town.
Mbuli said among other things that the consultant would be expected to produce a layout of the road infrastructure, bulk sewer system, supply and flow of electricity.
He added that after finalisation of the report by ZMCK Consulting Engineers, they would tender for the construction of infrastructure which includes the roads, bulk sewer, water supply and sanitation.
Mbuli said all this would depend on whether government injects money in the next financial year which could culminate in commencement of the project.
Buhleni was already taking shape with the already finished multi-million shopping complex which has changed the face of the town. Not only that, the small northern Hhohho town will see another multi-million infrastructural development currently under way where a filling station and another shopping complex will be constructed. The small town has become a centre of attraction and with the proposed infrastructural developments, it could be one of the best towns in the country.
During World AIDS Day commemoration, Mbuli urged government through the Ministry of Housing and Urban Development for support in the construction of the bulk sewer system to accommodate the upcoming massive developments.
It should be noted that the latest tender at Buhleni comes hardly a fortnight after ZMCK stamped its authority in terms of competitiveness after emerging as best evaluated tenderer in the over E0.5 million tender by EWSC.
