Africa-Press – Ethiopia. The 5th Pakistan-Africa Trade Development Conference (PATDC) is scheduled to be held in Addis Ababa from May 15 to 17, 2025.
During a press briefing today, Atif Sharif, Pakistan’s Ambassador to Ethiopia, revealed that over 100 Pakistani manufacturing firms will take part in the conference and exhibition.
These companies will showcase a variety of products, including medical and pharmaceutical items, beauty care products, textiles and apparel, food and agricultural goods, automotive parts, and electrical and household appliances.
The three-day event is designed to enhance trade and investment relations between Pakistan and African countries, particularly Ethiopia.
Jemal Beker, the Ethiopian Ambassador to Pakistan, noted that the macroeconomic reform underway in Ethiopia is attracting Pakistani investors to explore various economic opportunities within the country.
The conference will convene high-ranking government officials, influential business leaders, investors, and trade specialists from both Pakistan and the African continent.
In addition to the conference, an exhibition will showcase a diverse array of Pakistani products and services.
The event will also feature numerous business-oriented activities, including a trade conference, business-to-business (B2B) and government-to-government (G2G) meetings, as well as formal dinner events aimed at fostering networking and collaboration.
