Africa-Press – Ethiopia. Prime Minister Abiy Ahmed has conferred with the Presidents of Tanzania, Samia Suluhu Hassan and Rwanda, Paul Kagame in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia.
The premier met the presidents on the sidelines of the Saudi-Africa Summit being held in Riyadh.
The premier twitted that he discussed with the leaders on strengthened cooperation.
Abiy has earlier conferred with President Ismail Omar Guelleh of Djibouti and President Hassan Sheikh Mohamed of Somalia on bilateral and regional issues of mutual interest.
Discussions at the first Saudi-Africa Summit revolve around supporting joint action, enhancing political coordination, and addressing regional security threats as well as to facilitate economic transformation through research and the local development of new energy solutions, all while bolstering cross-sectoral investment cooperation.
