Africa-Press – Ethiopia. The Chancellor of the Federal Republic of Germany, Olaf Scholz departed after a one-day official visit to Ethiopia.
State Minister for Foreign Affairs, Ambassador Birtukan Ayano, bade farewell to the Chancellor at Bole International Airport.
During his in Ethiopia visit, the Chancellor met with Prime Minister Abiy Ahmed and African Union Commission (AUC) Chairperson, Moussa Faki Mahamat.
Prime Minister Abiy has received the Chancellor Scholz at his office and discussed bilateral and multilateral issues of mutual importance.
During their discussion they vowed to strengthen longstanding Ethio-German ties.
AUC Chairperson, has also discussed with German Chancellor Olaf Scholz about the situations in Sudan among others.
