Africa-Press – Ethiopia. Deputy Prime Minister and Foreign Minister Demeke Mekonnen held a productive discussion with the President of International Committee of the Red Cross (ICRC), Mirjana Spoljaric in Geneva, Switzerland, today.
Demeke exchanged views on further strengthening cooperation between Ethiopia and International Humanitarian Organizations, according to Ministry of Foreign Affairs
DPM and FM Demeke, who is in Geneva to particpate at the Global Refugee Forum, commended ICRC for its multifaceted activities in humaniterian suppport programs in Ethiopia and called for more support in this regard.
President Mirjana Spoljaric, said the ICRC is proud of the collaboration it has with various institutions in Ethiopia and reiterated the commitment of the ICRC to work with Ethiopia.
