Africa-Press – Ethiopia. In a significant move to strengthen military ties, Ethiopian Defense Minister Aisha Mohammed and Indian Defense Minister Rajnath Singh signed a defense cooperation memorandum of understanding today, on the sidelines of Aero India 2025.
The newly established partnership aims to deepen cooperation in various defense sectors, including defense industrial collaboration, cyber security, joint research and development, as well as capacity building, according to Embassy of Ethiopia in New Delh, India.
The two top defense officials have expressed a commitment to exploring additional areas of military cooperation through their respective defense ministries.
This MoU marks a pivotal step in enhancing the relationship between Ethiopia and India.
Ethiopia’s Defense Minister is participating at Aero India 2025 which is hosted by the government of India.
Aero India 2025, India’s largest airshow and aviation exhibition has officially begun and will last until 14 February at Yelahanka Air Force Station, Bengaluru, India.
