Africa-Press – Ethiopia. Ethiopia is participating in the Global Pre- COP 28 Conference on Climate Change in Abu Dhabi, United Arab Emirates.
This year’s event has seen 70 ministers and over 100 delegations coming together in the UAE capital, more than double the normal number of participants for a Pre-COP.
The participants of the two day meeting are expected to deliberate on fast tracking energy transition, deliver old promises and set the framework for a new deal on climate finance.
They will also put nature, people, lives and livelihoods at the centre of climate action and underpinning everything with full inclusivity.
The United Nations Climate Change Conferences are the world’s highest decision-making body on climate issues and one of the largest international meetings in the world.
