Ethiopian Delegation Visits Kenya to Strengthen Bilateral Relations

Africa-Press – Ethiopia. An Ethiopian delegation, led by Minister of Foreign Affairs, Gedion Timothewos visited Kenya today and met with senior Kenyan officials.

​​​​​​As part of the visit, Foreign Minister Gedion held discussions with Dr. Musalia Mudavadi, EGH, the Prime Cabinet Secretary and Cabinet Secretary for Foreign and Diaspora Affairs of Kenya.

The discussions centered on enhancing the robust ties between Ethiopia and Kenya and identifying new opportunities for collaboration, according to the Ministry of Foreign Affairs.

The delegation also met with Hon. J. Opiyo Wandayi, EGH. Cabinet Secretary – Energy and Petroleum of Kenya and discussed ways of enhancing cooperation on renewable energy and sustainable energy development.

The Ethiopian delegation included several high-ranking officials, including Minister of Water and Energy, Dr. Eng. Habtamu Etefa, CEO of Ethiopian Investment Holdings, Dr. Brook Taye, Deputy CEO of Ethiopian Electric Power, Eng. Andualem Siae, and Deputy Director General of African Affairs, Eng. Andualem Siae.
