Africa-Press – Ethiopia. April 15/2021(ENA)The Grand Ethiopian Renaissance Dam (GERD) Fund Raising Task Force in Sacramento and its environs handed over 60,000 USD to Ethiopia’s Consul General in Los Angeles, Ambassador Mulugeta Kelil.
Ambassador Mulugeta thanked all who are responsible for the fundraising, including the staffers of the consulate.
The Ambassador also expressed his hope that cooperation would continue for some other constructive initiatives, according to Ministry of Foreign Affairs.
Similarly, Minnesota-Midwest GERD Support committee has collected about 70,000 USD.
Ethiopia’s consul general office in Minnesota thanked those who contributed to the GERD.
