Africa-Press – Ethiopia. Foreign Affairs State Minister Mesganu Arga and India’s Ambassador to Ethiopia Robert Shetkintong have held talks today.
During the discussion, the state minister said trade, investment, and development assistance are all part of Ethiopia and India’s extensive economic and commercial ties.
With regard to global issues, he added that India and Ethiopia have similar perspectives on topics such as cross-border international terrorism, climate change, UN Security Council Reform, etc.
According to ministry of foreign affairs, Ambassador Shetkintong said on his part that this year marks the 75th anniversary of the diplomatic relationship between Ethiopia and India, reminding the two countries of their past achievements and the areas they still need to improve to strengthen ties.
