Nat’l Dialogue Commission Receives Agenda Items of Amhara Region

Africa-Press – Ethiopia. The Ethiopian National Dialogue Commission has received agenda items of the Amhara Regional State from representatives of stakeholders today.

The Amhara state consultative forum was held from April 5 to April 12, 2025 in Bahir Dar city.

The agenda items of the region were officially submitted to the Ethiopian National Dialogue Commission through 25 elected representatives after the agenda items were presented to the general assembly.

Ethiopian National Dialogue commissioners Melaku Woldemariam and Yonas Adaye received the agenda items from the representatives, it was learned.

Speaking at the closing ceremony of the forum, Commissioner Melaku Weldemariam said the agenda gathering process in the region was successfully concluded.

The commissioner noted that the agenda items of the region would help to find solutions to the problems facing the region and the country at large.

According to him, the consultative forum would help create a culture of discussion toward solving problems in a civilized manner.

The agenda items are of great importance in strengthening multinational unity, peace, and solidarity, the commissioner added.

Commissioner Melaku also urged the people to continue their support till the finalization of the national dialogue.

The closing ceremony of the consultative forum was attended by influential individuals, religious leaders, political parties, representatives of various institutions, among others.
