The book ‘Yemedemer Menged’ ( the Medemer Road) discusses the reform measures being taken across the nation and the challenges it has been facing and successes registered.
It also dwells with memories of the prime minister and the discourses he had with friends.
The new book published in Amharic and Oromifa, is a follow up and additional explanation of the book ‘MEDEMER’, previously authored by the premier.
Prime Minister Abiy, Deputy Prime Minister and Foreign Minister Demeke Mekonen as well as other government officials and invited guests attended the inauguration ceremony.
During the occasion, Addis Ababa University lecturer Bedilu Wakjira said the book provides independent analysis of the existing political, economic and social situations in the country.
It also indicates ways on how the youth could fight against dictators.
The proceeds from the sales of the new book will be used for the construction of schools in different parts of the country, it was learned.
It is to be recalled that Abiy had donated over 110 million Birr from the proceeds of his previous book, MEDEMER.
