Africa-Press – Ethiopia. Prime Minister Abiy Ahmed held a bilateral discussion with Cuba’s Vice President, Salvador Valdez Mesa who is in Addis Ababa for a working visit.
The Vice President of the Republic of Cuba, Salvador Valdés Mesa arrived in Addis Ababa for a working visit in Ethiopia.
PM Abiy held a bilateral discussion with Cuba’s Vice President today, according to office of the prime minister.
The two sides explored strengthened cooperation in the medical sector, tourism services, education and sugar industries.
During his stay in Addis Ababa, the vice president paid tribute to the soldiers, who sacrificed their lives to help Ethiopia in the fight against the invading army of Siad Barre of Somalia in 1975, at the Ethio-Cuban Friendship Park.
