Africa-Press – Ethiopia. Prime Minister Abiy Ahmed has congratulated Friedrich Merz after Germany’s parliament on Tuesday elected him as the new chancellor in a second round of voting.
“Congratulations to Friedrich Merz on your election as Chancellor of the Federal Republic of Germany,” the Prime Minister wrote on X.
The Premier added: “As we mark 120 years of diplomatic relations between our two nations, I am confident that our strengthened partnership will serve as a solid foundation for advancing the global good.”
