Africa-Press – Ethiopia. State Minister for Foreign Affairs Mesganu Arga held talks with Director General of the Qatar Fund for Development (QFFD) Khalifa bin Jassim Al-Kuwari today, on the margins of the Doha Forum in Qatar.
The discussions covered issues related to the longstanding partnership between Ethiopia and QFFD, according to the Ministry of Foreign Affairs.
Mesganu, who noted Qatar is a preferred partner for economic cooperation, emphasized the need to translate the excellent political ties into practical economic partnership for the benefit of the two peoples.
He underlined the need to increase the breadth and depth of Ethio-Qatati economic cooperation for the greater growth of the ties.
Both sides agreed to expand cooperation and foster new areas of cooperation for the steady growth of bilateral ties.
