Africa-Press – Gambia. Hart FC and Real de Banjul recorded convincing victories in the GFF/Vista Bank-Baluwo First Division League, while league leaders Gambia Ports Authority (GPA) secured a late win to maintain their position at the top of the table.

Real de Banjul defeated BST Galaxy 3-1 after establishing a dominant first-half lead. Modou Lamin Darboe, Abdoulie Baldeh and Omar Johm scored to give the Banjul-based side a comfortable advantage before the break. Sheriff Bah pulled one back for BST Galaxy in the second half at the Live Your Dreams Mini Stadium in Basori, but the goal proved only a consolation.

At the Ousman Saho Field in Yundum, Hart FC produced a strong second-half performance to beat TMT. Lamin Touray opened the scoring before Alfusainey Ceesay added a brace to seal the victory. Yahya Ndong scored late for TMT but could not prevent defeat.

League leaders GPA bounced back from last week’s 3-2 loss by edging Bombada 1-0. The match appeared destined for a draw until Omar Jallow struck a late volley to secure all three points, keeping GPA at the summit of the standings.

Elsewhere, Hawks and Gambian Dutch Lions played out a goalless draw at Kabakel in a closely contested encounter.

League action continues on Sunday, with Fortune FC facing Brikama United at the Box Bar Mini Stadium, Falcons FC taking on Team Rhino at the Serrekunda East Mini Stadium, Samger travelling to Bakau to play Steve Biko, and Medina United hosting Greater Tomorrow in Basori.
