Africa-Press – Gambia. Informed sources have confirmed to The Point the detention of about 53 Gambians in Mauritania as their boat that departed from Mandinary recently was rescued in the waters of Mauritania near Nouadhibou.
The same source revealed that the Embassy staff in Mauritania provided them with food and shoes and preparing paperwork for deportation to The Gambia.
