Africa-Press – Gambia. Doctors at the Gambia’s main referral hospital have raised concern over the hospital’s heavy dependence on cylinders as the only oxygen source.
Currently, Edward Francis Small Teaching Hospital (EFSTH) in Banjul is challenged by oxygen issues.
According to information gathered by press, the hospital has no other oxygen source than the cylinders
and doctors said their overdependence on cylinders was dangerous.
“No oxygen. Only cylinders and that’s dangerous,” one doctor revealed.
