Africa-Press – Gambia. Flex Fuzion Dance Academy has brought pride to The Gambia after four of its dancers delivered an outstanding performance at the World Federation of Acrobatic and Dance Sports World Cup, held on 23 November 2025 at the Irina Viner Palace in Moscow, Russia.
The team, comprised of Mariama Camara, Kaddijatou Baldeh, Sanjaku Kamara, and Daniel Taylor, and led by coach Yasai Joof, competed against dancers from 30 countries. Their remarkable display earned them a 6th-place global ranking and two trophies, securing The Gambia the position of top-performing African nation ahead of Senegal.
This milestone marks a historic achievement for Flex Fuzion and elevates The Gambia’s presence in international dance sport. The academy attributed the success to the commitment and resilience of the dancers, as well as the expert guidance of Coach Joof and their international coaching partners.
