Africa-Press – Gambia. Gambia Armed Forces (GAF) secured a comprehensive 4-0 victory over Mansa Wally FC in the Gambia Football Federation (GFF) Women’s Division Two at Kerr Jatta Football Field in the North Bank Region on Sunday.
Tenang Marena scored twice for GAF, while Hawa Sambou and Isatou Sanyang also found the net to complete the scoring.
Elsewhere, Darboe’s FC went down 2-1 to Lower Niumi. Ajie Amie Nyang opened the scoring for Lower Niumi before Sainabou Jallow equalised. Emma Jatta struck in the 83rd minute to hand Lower Niumi the win.
Prison FC and Jeshwang FC played out a goalless draw at the Brikama Boxba Mini Stadium. Despite creating several chances, neither side could break the deadlock.
Jung Mama FC suffered a narrow 1-0 defeat to Future Bi, with Oumie Jarjusey scoring the lone goal of the match.
Kinteh’s FC and Rekie FC also shared the spoils in a goalless draw at the Serekunda East Mini Stadium.
