The Young Scorpions are currently training at the National Technical Training Centre in Old Yundum to prepare themselves ready for the sub-regional cadet biggest football championship.
Coach Abdoulie Bojang and his Young Scorpions will scuffle to beat Senegal, Mali and Mauritania in their group matches to cruise to the semi-finals of the 2024 WAFU Zone A football tournament.
It could be recalled that The Gambia U-20 team slipped to Senegal U-20 team 1-0 in the final of the 2022 WAFU Zone A U-20 football tournament played in Mauritania.
