Africa-Press – Gambia. The Gambia U-17 team have been paired with Senegal, Liberia and Guinea Conakry in Group A of the 2024 WAFU Zone A U-17 qualifying tournament for the 2025 CAF U-17 Africa Cup of Nations.
The draw for the sub-regional cadet football tournament was held at the Headquarters of the Federation Senegalaise de Football in Dakar on Monday.
Meanwhile, Group B consists of Mali, Sierra Leone, Mauritania and Guinea Bissau.
The 2024 WAFU Zone A U-17 football tournament is set to begin on 20th October 2024 and finish on 3rd November 2024.
