Africa-Press – Gambia. The Gambian Association in Reggio Emilia, Italy, under the chairmanship of Modou Faal and the coordination of Buba Sanyang (Coach Oliver), will present the Coppa D’Africa 2025.
The highly anticipated West African football championship is set for Saturday, 12th July 2025, at the Pieve Modolena Mini Stadium in Italy.
The tournament has attracted six West African countries The Gambia, Nigeria, Ivory Coast, Guinea Conakry, Burkina Faso and Liberia all eagerly preparing to take part in the day-long football championship.
With its fanfare and display of skills and talent from the six nations, the event continues to draw the interest of football scouts across Europe, who are keen to discover new talent from West Africa.
As planned, the tournament will begin with a round-robin format before moving to the semi-finals and concluding with a final to decide the champions of the 2025 edition.
With all teams ready for keenly contested matches, the organising committee is calling on all and sundry especially those from The Gambia, Nigeria, Ivory Coast, Liberia, Guinea Conakry, Burkina Faso and other African and European communities to come out and join this meaningful, day-long football championship.
