Africa-Press – Gambia. GAMTEL, The Gambia’s national telecom provider, has issued a notice to its customers regarding a service disruption caused by fiber isolation. The disruption occurred 2.7 kilometers from the Serekunda exchange, in the direction of Banjul, and has been attributed to a cable cut.
The company’s technical team has swiftly identified the fault and is actively working to restore services as soon as possible. GAMTEL has expressed regret over any inconvenience caused and reassured customers that they are prioritizing the issue to minimize downtime.
