Africa-Press – Gambia. Ghana Town FC were on Saturday crowned winners of the 2022 Brufut nawettan league tournament after defeating King Njies 5-3 on post-match penalty shootout following a 2-2 draw in the regulation time.
Both teams continue with their last year’s nawetan wonderful performances, giving fans and spectators an entertaining display of skills and talents with determination over the weekend.
As winners, Ghana Town were awarded a giant trophy and a cash prize of D40, 000, while King Njies pocketed home D30, 000 as runners up.
