Africa-Press – Gambia. The Gambia National Olympic Committee over the weekend confirmed the participation of fourteen young athletes who will compete in four sports at the 2025 ANOCA African Youth Games in Luanda, Angola, from December 10 to December 20.
The Athletics will form the biggest number of athletes with 10 young stars that are ready to shine and make history in the game.
In detail, five boys and five girls will contest on the track.
African U18 champions in beach volleyball will represent with two athletes, looking to improve from their 2018 bronze medal glory. Judo and Badminton will each field one athlete at the games.
The delegation will be led by the GNOC Chef de Mission, Salifu Touray, President of the Gambia Tug of War Association.
