Africa-Press – Gambia. The Board and Management of GRA are currently on a five-day study tour from 12th to 16th February 2024 at Zambia Revenue Authority. This working visit is meant to benchmark and explore reforms and modernization programs successfully carried out by its counterpart. The study tour will also witness the signing of a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) between the two authorities.
In receiving the delegation, ZRA’s Commissioner General, Dingani Banda, extended a warm welcome and emphasized the need to strengthen South-South Cooperation in modernizing the tax collection systems for enhancing revenue collection.
GRA Board Chairperson – Lucy Fye Jagne, and Commissioner Darboe, both showed appreciation for the warm reception and hospitality accorded to their delegation and expressed optimism in greater collaboration between the two administrations.
