Africa-Press – Gambia. The Board and Management of Gambia Revenue Authority (GRA) are currently on a five-day study tour from 12 to 16 February 2024 at Zambia Revenue Authority (ZRA).
The working visit by the GRA board members is meant to benchmark and explore reforms and modernisation programs successfully carried out by their Zambian counterparts. The study tour will also witness the signing of a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) between the two authorities.
In receiving the delegation, ZRA’s Commissioner General Dingani Banda extended a warm welcome and emphasised the need to strengthen South-South Cooperation in modernizing the tax collection systems for enhancing revenue collection.
GRA Board Chairperson – Lucy Fye Jagne, and Commissioner Darboe, both showed appreciation for the warm reception and hospitality accorded to the delegation and expressed optimism in greater collaboration between the two administrations.
