Africa-Press – Gambia. Greater Tomorrow moved second position, while Tallinding United got defeated during the week-27 fixtures of the Gambia Football Federation (GFF) Second Division League played on Wednesday across three different venues.

Greater Tomorrow moved to second position in the GFF 2 division league after defeating struggling side Red Hawks FC during a game played at the Late Ousman Saho field in Old Yundum.

The West Coast Region-based team, Greater Tomorrow, now collected fifteen victories of the season, while Red Hawks suffered their fifteen defeat of the league.

Greater Tomorrow overall collected 15 victories, 4 draws and 8 defeats after 27 matches, while Red Hawks overall collected 7 wins, 5 draws and 15 losses after 27 games.

The win moved Greater Tomorrow FC to 2nd position with 49 points, while the defeat dropped Red Scorpions FC 15th position with 26 points. Elsewhere, Tallinding United were beaten 3-0 by Jam City during a game played at the Independence Stadium in Bakau on Wednesday.

The Buffer Zone boys, Tallinding United now suffered their ninth defeat of the season, while the Jambanjelly-based team, Jam City now collected their sixth win of the season.

Jam City overall collected 6 victories, 6 draws and 15 defeats after 27 matches, while Tallinding United overall collected 10 wins, 7 draws and 9 defeats after 26 matches.

The victory maintained Jam City at the relegation (16th) position with 24 points, while the defeat dropped Tallinding United to 11th position with 37 points. Jarra West beat Kanifing East 1-0 during a game played at the Soma Mini-Stadium on Wednesday.

The Lower River Region-based team, Jarra West now collected their eleventh win of the season, while the Eastern boys, Kanifing suffered their sixth win of the league.

Jarra West overall collected 11 wins, 7 draws and 9 defeats after 27 games, while Kanifing East overall registered 9 wins, 12 draws and 6 defeats after 27 matches. The triumph moved Jarra West to 9 position with 40 points, one point ahead of Kanifing East, who occupied 10 position with 39 points.
