For his outstanding commitment and his new award and chieftaincy title, Honourable Fatou Mas Jobe, the Gambia former Minister of Tourism and Culture among others has congratulated Mr. Adama Njie on the chieftaincy title conferred on him by the traditional ruler and council of the chief of IshagaAkiniyi Kingdom as the Chief Borokoni of Ishaga AkiniyiKingdom in Ogun State, Nigeria.
An event that took place at the Kingdom on Saturday, 18th May, 2024.
According to Hon Fatou Mas Jobe, Chief Adama Njie is a steadfast and committed person in whatever he’s doing coupled with his ceaseless quest for the upliftment of the sector and people around him with unprecedented growth in the industry.
She continued that during her time in office as Minister of Tourism and Culture, “Adama Njie proved himself as an impeccable staff of GTBoard, to the Ministry and the sector while exhibiting the true spirit of leadership in him that made this award and chieftaincy title conferred on him not to be a surprise to me.”
Ma’am Fatou Mas Jobe, who was really happy by Adama Njie’schieftaincy attainment wishes him a long life, good health, and prosperity as Chief of Borokini of Ishaga Akiniyi Kingdom.
Chief Adama Njie, presently Director of Tourism Promotion of the Gambia Tourism Board (GTBoard) UK – Covering the United Kingdom, Ireland, and Central and Eastern European countries, before joining the GTBoard in 2012 has worked in different institutions which included Gambia International Airlines Limited (GIA), Guaranty Trust Bank (GTB) Gambia Limited, among others.
