Africa-Press – Gambia. Immigration FC has bounced back from their previous setbacks, while Gunjur United won in the Gambia Football Federation (GFF) 2nd Division League week-eight fixtures played on Wednesday.

Immigration FC bounced back from their previous setbacks after defeating Waterside 1-0 in a game played at the Independence Stadium in Bakau. The Immigration side now collected fifth win of the season, while Waterside FC conceded to their fourth defeat of the season after eight games.

Immigration FC overall registered five wins, one draw and two defeats, while Waterside FC collected two wins, two draws and four defeats after eight games.

Immigration moved back to 2nd position with 16 points, while Waterside FC sit 14th position with 8 points, leveling with Bombada. Gunjur United won against Dibba Oil 3-2 in a game played at the Late Ousman Saho football field in Old Yundum.

The Coastal Town boys, Gunjur registered their fourth win of the season while Dibba Oil conceded to their third defeat of the season after eight games.

Gunjur United overall collected four wins, three draws and one defeat, while Dibba Oil registered three wins, two draws and three defeats in eight games.

Gunjur United moved 3rd position with 15 points, while Dibba Oil sit 6th position with 11 points, leveling with Wagadu. Newly promoted side, Wagadu defeated Red Hawks 2-1 in a game played at the Soma mini-stadium.

The Upper River Region-based team, Wagadu collected their third win of the season, while Red Hawks FC conceded to their fifth defeats of the season after eight games.

Wagadu overall registered three wins, two draws and three defeats, while Red Hawks FC collected two wins, one draw and five defeats. Wagadu occupy 9th position with 11 points, leveling with Dibba Oil, while Red Hawks sit 16th position with 7 points leveling with Jarra West.

At the time of going to press, Latrikunda United were playing against Medical at the Late Ousman Saho field in Old Yundum; B4U Kaing West were also entertaining Young African at the Soma mini-stadium and Greater Tomorrow were battling it out with BK Milan at the Independence Stadium in Bakau.
