Sharing for learning.

The World Food Program-China South-South Cooperation Knowledge Sharing Platform was launched on Friday during a seminar hosted at the UN Compound in Beijing.

It’s a digital and systematic space for other developing countries to learn about China’s experiences on food security and nutrition improvement as well as rural transformation.

The platform also offers a Cloud School, an inclusive digital education space, which features programmes that are tailored to the needs of participants of all levels.

More than 100 representatives from different countries and international organizations attended the event either online or in person, including Chinese government officials, diplomats from foreign missions in China, and technical partners.

Rahamtalla Osman, Representative of the African Union to China, spoke highly of the initiative, saying it would amplify learning and exchanges between China and Africa and help protect people from hunger.

And the UN says it will also support China in exploring feasible ways of promoting digital innovation and transformation related to South-South cooperation.
