Africa-Press – Gambia. Gambia’s midfielder Mbassey Darboe has extended her goal-scoring streak in Liberia’s Women’s Premier League after scoring two goals in her side’s weekend encounter with Shaita FC.
Mbassey’s Determine FC walloped Shaita FC 4-0 to sail four points clear on top of the league table.
She scored goals in each half of the encounter to enhance the defending champions’ niche in the tournament.
Ruggy Joof and Catherine Jatta have also been instrumental in Determine FC’s ninth-straight win in Liberia’s top-rated championship.
