Africa-Press – Gambia. Professor Pierre Gomez, the Minister of Higher Education Research Science and Technology (MoHERST), has pledged to provide scholarships for Gambia College graduates who have been conferred with Excellence awards to advance their education at the University of The Gambia.
The Ministry of Higher Education Research Science and Technology (MoHERST) made this announcement on its Facebook page;
“On Saturday, 27th May 2023, our Hon. Minister, Professor Pierre Gomez, was invited as keynote speaker at The Gambia College graduation ceremony. At the occasion, Hon. Gomez promises that his Ministry will provide Scholarships to all those awarded with Excellence at the graduation ceremony to pursue their Bachelor’s Degrees at The University of The Gambia.”
For the first time after the COVID-19 pandemic, The Gambia College organised this auspicious convocation ceremony for the graduating classes of 2019, 2020, 2021, and 2022.
