Africa-Press – Gambia. The NBA Africa Triple-Double Accelerator 2025 is an initiative designed to empower early-stage African startups innovating in the sports and creative sectors. Launched by NBA Africa in collaboration with ALX Ventures and ServiceNow, the program offers a comprehensive support package to selected startups.

Program Overview

The accelerator targets startups that are headquartered in Africa, less than two years old, and operating within the sports or creative industries. Eligible startups should possess a tech-enabled solution with clear market value, a proof-of-concept prototype, and at least two full-time co-founders.

Shortlisted startups will participate in a 10-week mentorship program, receiving:

Up to $50,000 in cash and value-in-kind benefits for the top 5 winners.

Business coaching and advisory from global experts.

Pitch refinement with mock rounds and expert guidance.

Application Process

The application deadline is August 29, 2025. Interested startups can apply through the official portal. The application process includes sharing the startup’s story, traction, business model, and impact, along with a pitch deck and demo if available.(

Eligibility Criteria

Startups must

Be headquartered in Africa.

Be less than 2 years old.

Operate in the sports or creative industries.

Have a tech-enabled solution with clear market value.

Possess a proof-of-concept prototype.

Have at least two full-time co-founders.

Preferably be registered as a company.

Applications from startups that are marketplaces, late-stage with significant capital raised, non-tech enabled, without functional prototypes, or have participated in more than two similar programs in the past 12 months will not be considered.Conclusion
