NPP Makes Strategic Internal Executive Appointments

Africa-Press – Gambia. The National People’s Party (NPP) has announced what it describes as strategic executive appointments aimed at further strengthening the party’s institutional structures.

In a statement signed by Seedy S.K. Njie, Deputy Spokesperson of the NPP, the party informed the general public, including its officials, members, and supporters, that the Secretary General and Party Leader, His Excellency President Adama Barrow, acting in accordance with the party’s constitution and resolution 001/2025 of the 2025 NPP National Congress, has approved changes and new appointments to the Party’s National and Youth Wing Executive Committees.

“Mr. Momodou Sabally, formerly Deputy Campaign Manager, is appointed National Youth President of the NPP. Mr. Abdoulie Cham, formerly Public Relations Officer of the National Youth Wing, is appointed Deputy National Campaign Manager. Hon. Ramzia Diab is appointed as a Co-opted National Executive Member. Mr. Musa B. Susso is appointed as a Co-opted National Executive Member. Mr. Omar Biyai is appointed as a Co-opted National Executive Member. Mr. Yusupha Jammeh of Tanji is appointed Public Relations Officer of the National Youth Wing, and Mr. Lamin Saho is appointed Deputy Public Relations Officer of the National Youth Wing,” the statement outlined.

The party added that these appointments underscored the NPP’s commitment to youth empowerment, grassroots mobilisation, and inclusive national development as it prepares for upcoming national engagements.

President Barrow extended his heartfelt congratulations to all the newly appointed officials, urging them to carry out their duties with diligence, integrity, and patriotic dedication.

The party leader further called on all NPP structures, supporters, and affiliated stakeholders to extend their full support and cooperation to the new appointees and to continue working collectively in pursuit of the party’s vision, principles, and national aspirations.
