Africa-Press – Gambia. Nuha Ndong, the Youth Coordinator for the National People’s Party (NPP) in Pirang Ward, has formally resigned from his position and the party, according to a resignation letter.

Sources close to Ndong have confirmed that he has now aligned himself with Kebba Madi Bojang’s newly formed National Democratic Party (NDP).

In his resignation letter, Ndong wrote:

“I, Nuha Ndong, from Bonto Village, Kombo East District, the youth coordinator of NPP in Pirang Ward. I am sending this letter to all my National People’s Party members about the position I am serving in the ward from 2022 to date. I am hereby resigning from the position with immediate effect. It was a great pleasure working with the party, as from now I am no longer a member of the party. I am thanking every member of the National People’s Party with all the good rapport during our time in the party and togetherness with peace and harmony,” he said.

Nuha Ndong, described as a dynamic youth leader from Bonto Village, has been actively involved with the NPP since 2022, playing a key role in mobilizing young people in the Pirang Ward.
