President Barrow declares Mon 26 Dec public holiday

Africa-Press – Gambia. H.E. President Adama Barrow, GRMG, acting in accordance with Section 76(1) of the 1997 Constitution of the Republic of The Gambia, is pleased to declare Monday 26th December 2022, a public holiday in observance of Christmas.

Similarly, Monday, 1st January 2023, has been declared a public holiday throughout The Gambia to mark the beginning of the Year 2023.

President Barrow wishes the Christian community Merry Christmas and Gambians at large a happy, peaceful and prosperous New Year on behalf of the Government and the People of The Gambia.
