Africa-Press – Gambia. Muhammed Jah, chairman of QGroup, has constructed a 500-seat pavilion at the KG5 mini stadium in Banjul, providing much-needed shelter for football fans.

The Banjul Sports Committee (BSC) said Mr. Jah is the first person to build a pavilion at the “Jamaica End” of the stadium, a location that had long posed challenges for the committee.

According to the BSC, during a recent visit to the mini stadium, Mr. Jah promised to build the pavilion and pledged further support for improving other facilities at KG5.

“All football enthusiasts who regularly attend matches at KG5 have often expressed the need for a pavilion at the Jamaica End, which hosts the largest number of fans during games,” the BSC said. “Fans faced difficulties in this area, especially during rain, but this will now be a thing of the past thanks to Mr. Jah’s generosity.”

On behalf of Banjulians, the committee extended sincere appreciation to Mr. Muhammed Jah for his timely intervention and support.
