Africa-Press – Gambia. Red Scorpions FC on Monday announced that three of its formidable players have left The Gambia to join a club in Sierra Leone that is currently preparing for CAF competition.
The club said in a statement that it is pleased to announce that the trio Fatoumata Jammeh (Small), Fatou Fatty, and Kaddy Jatta (Messi) have safely arrived at Freetown International Airport in Sierra Leone.
“They were warmly received by the team officials and management of Ram Kamara Female Football Club, who are preparing for the upcoming CAF Women’s Champions League qualifiers. We wish them continued success as they settle in and begin this exciting new chapter,” Red Scorpions wrote.
The trio showcased an outstanding performance in their FF Cup final against Berewuleng FC on Sunday, which they lost 2-0.
