Africa-Press – Gambia. NPP officials Ousainou Bai Sankareh and Seedy K. Njie have today mended fences.
Barely a day after announcing his resignation from the NPP, Bai Sankareh released an audio, claiming that the House deputy speaker Seedy K.Njie had doled out an abuse to his mother via mobile phone.
Sankareh said he was going to present his case to the police but press has gathered that the wrinkles that appeared on Bai Sankareh/Seedy Njie relations have been ironed out today.
They in fact took a photo advantage to tell the nation that they have reconciled their differences.
Mr. Sankareh was quoted as saying “this is just a misunderstanding”.
He was said to have called for forgiveness as he described NPP as “one big family”.
Mr. Sankareh also thanked the mediators for brokering peace between him and the country’s House deputy speaker.
