Africa-Press – Gambia. The Serrekunda West Sports developmental Organisation (SWESDO) has commenced its second round of their ongoing Nawetan qualifiers after successfully playing their first round fixtures with all games played at the Serrekunda West Mini-Stadium.
In the first qualifiers, second fixtures saw Sankung Sillah eliminating Fra Boys during the earlier game played on Tuesday. Sankung Sillah FC who defeated Luzan FC during their opening knockout now made it to the third round stage after their latest victory.
Fra Boys who made it to the second round stage after defeating Planet in their opening game now got eliminated out of the SWESDO nawetten qualifiers. Elsewhere, Winged Dream beat Kanifing South 2-1 during the late encounter played on Tuesday.
Both teams, Winged Dream and Kanifing South made it to the second round following their post-match shootout win over Lamtoro and Ron Mango DK following their goalless draw in the regulation time. Winged Dream now progressed into the third round after eliminating Kanifing South.
Meanwhile, at the time of going to press yesterday, on Thursday, Serrekunda Central were taking on Stockholm during the earlier game, before German Boys playing against Badala in the late encounter.
