Africa-Press – Gambia. The Serekunda East Sports Development Organisation (SESDO) has officially kicked off its Africell-sponsored summer Nawettan season at the Serekunda East Mini Stadium with a series of exciting opening fixtures.
In the first match, Bijankerr United shared the spoils with newcomers Lahaiba FC. The experienced Bijankerr side opened the scoring in the 37th minute, but their lead was canceled out in the 56th minute by the debutants. The match ended 1-1 in regulation time, with both teams taking a point in their season opener.
In the second encounter, LN Border Bi secured a comfortable 2-0 victory over London United. LN Border Bi dominated the match and their commanding performance was reflected in the final scoreline.
The win earned LN Border Bi the maximum three points in their first match of the SESDO Africell-sponsored League Cup campaign.
