Africa-Press – Gambia. Sports Journalists’ Association of The Gambia (SJAG) on Sunday hammered The Gambia Football Lovers 7-2 in a friendly game played at the Late Ousman Saho Football Field in Old Yundum.
The Gambia Football lovers took the lead in the 10th minute of the match.
Ebrima Fadera alias Roben Njie levelled matters for SJAG from a rebound.
The Gambia Football Lovers regained lead through striker Abdoulie Danso from the penalty spot.
Omar Jobe levelled matters for SJAG before Muhammed Sonko scored a brace
Essa Jack, Bubacarr Bah and Abdoulie Jawo all registered their names on score sheet for SJAG during the match.
Speaking to reporters shortly after the match, President of SJAG, Omar Jarju, underscored the importance of the friendly match between SJAG and The Gambia Football Lovers.
Jarju stated that the match was organised to promote mutual understanding between SJAG and The Gambia football followers.
He thanked the organisers The Gambia Football Lovers for choosing SJAG for the friendly match.
