Africa-Press – Gambia. The graduating class of 133 have successfully completed grade nine, majority of whom started off in grade one. At the ceremony, John D. Senesie, principal of the school urged the graduating students to embrace their new journey and be great ambassadors to their school.

“As you are crossing another stage of your educational career, learn to follow the guidelines of the schools as you are going to lift the name of your school to higher heights,” he said.

He called for more collaborative efforts in creating a conducive learning environment for students. Mr Ade Drammeh, Editor of Qtv advised the students to use social media for positive purposes to impact positively on their future.

“We can use social media to better our lives and build our future by using it for the right purposes that is learning. But if it’s used otherwise, it can delay you and affect your performances and that can have a great impact on your future. Jean Pierre Kouamin, National Director SOS Village congratulated the newly graduating students, further encouraging them to keep on working hard.
