Africa-Press – Gambia. In a move to uplift young musical talent in The Gambia, MB Vision, in collaboration with GMB Promotion, officially signed two emerging artists – Meeky Meek and Assan Gaye on Saturday, 26th July 2025, at an event held in Motherland, Senegambia.
The contract aims to support the artists through production, branding, marketing, and increasing their visibility across various platforms.
Christopher Mendy, an international promoter widely known as Chris Black and CEO of GMB Promotion, congratulated the artists, describing the deal as a major step forward. “MB Vision, in partnership with GMB Promotion, is for serious-minded, focused creatives. This contract will offer the support needed for Assan Gaye and Meeky Meek to thrive,” he said.
He emphasized that the partnership marks a new beginning for the duo, as MB Vision continues its tradition of scouting and promoting talented artists.
Chris Black also expressed gratitude to MB Vision for trusting GMB Promotion with talent scouting and production, and acknowledged the promoters who attended the event.
Speaking at the ceremony, Ousman MB Krubally, also known as Ozzy, and CEO of MB Vision, celebrated the signing. He highlighted MB Vision’s recent successes with artists like King Saul and Sulayman Jallow (Lucky Son), noting their growing influence on various platforms.
“We’ve already released some of their videos and singles, and I’m excited to welcome Meeky Meek and Assan Gaye. We look forward to helping them reach greater heights,” Ozzy stated.
Both artists expressed joy and gratitude for the opportunity, promising their fans new and exciting content soon.
