Africa-Press – Gambia. As the Gambia Football Federation Men’s Division One League concludes, Greater Tomorrow Football Club has sent two of its talented players for a three-month football trial in England. The duo landed on Tuesday.

Before departing, the two key players helped the team reach its first Gambia Football Federation Cup Final, which is set for this weekend against TMT.

“We are thrilled to announce that two of our star players, Alex Gómez and Lilian Gomez, have flown to England to partake in a three-month international trial organised by NXGEN UK,” the club announced.

According to the club’s statement, Alex, an attacking midfielder known for his impressive passing and dribbling skills, and Lilian, a clinical striker deadly in front of goal, will both be hosted at the NXGEN residential football programme in London. There, they will participate in high-level broadcast matches against top clubs in the UK and beyond including Premier League, Championship, and French League teams in the presence of club scouts and representatives.

The players were escorted to Banjul International Airport by the club management.
