Africa-Press – Gambia. Musa Bah, Councillor for Latrikunda Yiringanya at the Kanifing Municipal Council (KMC), has announced his resignation from the United Democratic Party (UDP) with immediate effect.

In his resignation letter, Councillor Bah described the decision as a difficult one, noting that the UDP has played a significant role in his growth in public service and community development.

“This decision comes after careful reflection and sincere consideration of my political journey and personal convictions,” he stated.

Bah expressed deep gratitude to the UDP leadership, particularly to party leader Alhagie Ousainou ANM Darboe, for his “vision, mentorship, and unwavering dedication to the values of democracy and justice.”

He also extended his appreciation to his colleagues, supporters, and the residents of Latrikunda Yiringanya Ward for their continued trust and encouragement throughout his tenure.

Despite parting ways with the UDP, Councillor Bah affirmed his commitment to serving the people of Latrikunda Yiringanya under the Kanifing Municipal Council.
