Africa-Press – Gambia. The West Coast Regional Football Academies Association on Saturday, 5th July 2025, honoured the champions of its different youth categories in a colourful ceremony held at the National Technical Training Centre in Yundum.
Kids With Talents FA were crowned U17 champions, United World Stars FA won the U15 category, White Croc UTD FA claimed the U13 title, Surprising Stars FA emerged U11 champions, Medina United FA lifted the U9 trophy, while Surprising Stars FA also clinched the U7 championship. Each winning team received a giant trophy, gold medals, and a full set of jerseys.
Meanwhile, all the runners-up in the respective categories were each awarded a set of jerseys and silver medals.
Among the dignitaries in attendance were Bakary Bojang, President of the West Coast Regional Football Association; Kemo Ceesay, Finance Director of the Gambia Football Federation; Ebrima Nyassi, GFF Grassroots Football Manager; Lamin Sambou, Coordinator for Regional Coaches; Kebba Touray, President of the Gambia Football Coaches Association; Amadou Demba, Regional Coach for WCR; Lamin Sanneh, Assistant Coach of the Gambia U-17; Ebrima Jatta, Head Coach of Real de Banjul; and other high-profile guests.
