Buba Khan, former deputy leader of the opposition Gambia Moral Congress (GMC) and Aisha Jallow, former GMC’s deputy women mobiliser have all reportedly joined President Barrow’s National People’s Party (NPP), The Point has been reliably informed.
The former GMC officials recently met President Barrow at his office at State House with a view to pledging allegiance and unflinching support to his NPP.
A source familiar with the matter has confirmed the development to The Point.
It could be recalled that many supporters of different political parties were reported to have joined President Barrow’s NPP since its official unveiling last year.
The two were accompanied to the presidency by FaFa Ceesay and Siaka Jatta ahead of the NPP launching and congress.
